"RumiShior" is a luminous material that is bright and has a long glow duration. After being shielded from light, it gradually diminishes while maintaining approximately 20 hours of visible afterglow capability. It also has a high initial brightness, and the decay over time is relatively slow. Additionally, even after 1000 hours under a 300W high-pressure mercury lamp (at 35℃ to 40℃ and 70 to 80% RH), there is no change in color or brightness. Phosphorescent pigments are pigments that, when charged with sunlight or artificial light, gradually release light energy (emit light) even in the absence of light. They emit light while being exposed to light and can also be used as a substitute for fluorescent pigments. The main components of phosphorescent pigments include zinc sulfide-based pigments, which have been used for a long time, and strontium aluminate-based pigments, which have become more common in recent years. Zinc sulfide-based pigments have a short afterglow time and low brightness, but they are inexpensive and are still used in toys and other products.
